Ardithe B. Lucas, 91, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away and went to heaven on Saturday, May 3, 2014.
Ardithe was born in Greencastle, Indiana, January 25, 1923.

She had retired from Sears after many years of service. She was a dedicated member of her church: Arlington Avenue Baptist Church.

She was preceded by her husband, Sida Lucas, in death. They had been married for forty years.

Ardithe was preceded in death by her parents, John and Della Nelson; her two brothers, Lavern and Kenny Nelson; her son-in- law, John Everling and great-grandson, Zaidin Rieu.

Ardithe was survived by her two children Steven (Brenda) Lucas and Sandra Everling.
She had six grandchildren: Lori Vester, Sid (Jenny) Lucas, Keri (Danny) Boatner, Amber Maurice, Shawn (Krissy) Lucas, and Jamie (Arthur) Rieu. She also leaves behind eleven great-grandchildren.

Service will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Arlington Avenue Baptist Church. The viewing will be from 9-11. The service will start at 11:00 am.
